Our Mission
G. Krishnakumar — naturopath, baker and founder — left a career in corporate India to pursue one goal: make whole grain nutrition accessible, delicious and honest. Every product is oven-roasted, stone-ground and packed fresh with no chemical shortcuts.

என் பெயர் G. கிருஷ்ணகுமார். நான் ஒரு இயற்கை மருத்துவ ஆர்வலன் (Naturopath), சமையல் ஆர்வலன், மற்றும் 9 Grains – Aadhava Foods நிறுவனத்தின் நிறுவனர்.
கார்ப்பரேட் வாழ்க்கையில் ஈடுபட்டுக்கொண்டிருந்த காலத்தில், என் மனதில் ஒரு கேள்வி எப்போதும் எழுந்தது — "நாம் சாப்பிடுவதுதான் நாம்" என்று சொல்கிறார்கள், ஆனால் இன்று கடைகளில் கிடைக்கும் உணவுகளில் எத்தனை செயற்கை பொருட்கள் சேர்க்கப்படுகின்றன? மைதா, அமோனியா, பேக்கிங் சோடா, செயற்கை நிறமிகள், ரசாயன பாதுகாப்பான் பொருட்கள் — இவை இல்லாத உணவு எங்கே?
அந்த கேள்விக்கான பதிலாக, 2016-ல் சென்னை ஆதம்பாக்கத்தில் உள்ள என் வீட்டின் சிறிய அடுப்பறையிலிருந்து இந்த பயணம் தொடங்கியது. முதல் நாள் சில பாக்கெட்டுகளாக தொடங்கிய இந்த தொழில், இன்று 49-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட தயாரிப்புகளை தமிழகம் முழுவதும் வழங்கி வருகிறது.
எங்கள் தயாரிப்புகளில் கம்பு, தினை, வரகு, சாமை, குதிரைவாலி, கேழ்வரகு, ராகி — இந்த சிறு தானியங்களின் (nutri-cereals) மகத்துவத்தை நம் முன்னோர்கள் நன்கு அறிந்திருந்தார்கள். தவிடு, கிருமி, மாவுப்பகுதி — மூன்றும் நிறைந்த முழு தானிய மாவுகளை (whole grain flours) பயன்படுத்தி, அடுப்பில் வேகவைத்து (oven-roasted), கல்வரைப்பட்டை மூலம் அரைத்து (stone-ground), எந்த ரசாயனமும் இல்லாமல் தயாரிக்கிறோம்.
நம் நாட்டு மூலிகைகளான அஸ்வகந்தா, சதாவரி, முருங்கை, குடிசேலி, மணத்தக்காளி — இவற்றை கவனமாக தேர்ந்தெடுத்து, அவற்றின் மருத்துவ குணங்களை உணவிலேயே சேர்க்கிறோம். ஏனென்றால், "நோயை குணப்படுத்துவதை விட நோய் வராமல் தடுப்பதே சிறந்தது" என்பது என் நம்பிக்கை.
